"The purpose of the assignment was to create a 'video postcard' of a business or subject and create a little short about it. BEC-TV is a student ran television studio at my old school district in Bloomington, MN. This was shot over two days, one for B-Roll at a football, and the other where I interviewed Tom."

"One of my first projects attending Columbia College Chicago. The goal of this documentary was to showcase this on campus band named 'mulch.' from the bassist's perspective. I did 70% of the edit for this, in DaVinci Resolve. I also created the animated title card in After Effects. Since the completion of this short, the band has since released a single."

Bentley: Metropolis Nightflight

"One of my final college projects. For this project, my instructor supplied us with a bunch of footage from a faux Bentley ad he shot and to make them into two social media spots at about 30 seconds each, with no script or storyboard provided. A second version was made that took inspiration from 2001: A Space Odyssey, while this one is a bit more punchy and to the point. Personally, I think this has some of my best editing so far. I experimented with a plugin called Dehancer which makes digital footage look more like film using Kodak filmreel presets, bloom, halation, and grain."

"The purpose of this project was to create a new commercial for the program (as a new one hadn't been made in nearly a decade). I co-directed this project, I directed the B-Roll portions, as well as organized student projects to be showcased. I also directed an interview that would unfortunatly go unused for this one minute version. I edited it entirely in DaVinci Resolve."

The Rooted Spirit: Meditation

"For our Corporate Video Production class, we did an eight video social media campaign for therootedspirit.com, a site that specializes in yoga, meditation, reiki, and selling healing crystals. I directed and edited two videos, a yoga demo and a meditation demo. Those two videos were shot at the Tonkadale Greenhouse in Minnetonka, MN. I also designed the basic intro and outro in After Effects, which was used on other videos in the campaign. A second version was also made that was formatted specifically for TikTok."

Cabinetry 50th Anniversary Reunion

"This was a last minute promo video we did for our college's cabinetry department's 50th anniversary reunion. They are mostly composed of interviews of alumni about what they've been making since graduation. A three minute and a one minute version were made and were uploaded to the college's Facebook page."

I’m a Chicago-based video production specialist with an A.A.S. from Hennepin Technical College (2024) and currently pursuing my B.A. at Columbia College Chicago (2027). I’m skilled in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Celtx, Final Draft, and experience with Sony and Blackmagic cameras, 35mm photography, lighting, and multicam setups.I have a strong passion for post-production and editing, and I’m eager to further explore directing—my ultimate goal is to direct my own film one day. My background also includes retail customer service and four years in competitive show choir, blending teamwork, creativity, and performance. In my free time, I love watching films, gaming, and listening to music.
